Walkman beats the iPod in Japan
The world loves iPods and with the new collection it is certainly hard not to do so. However, this is not the case in Japan where according to researchers at BCN, Sony’s Walkman line has temporarily passed the iPod for sales. Sony slide past in August with 47.8 percent of sales where Apple dropped to 44 percent. 8 and 16GB version of the iPod Nano were the favorites in Japan until a range of Sony Walkmans started flying of the shelves. Its a matter of time before the Walkman’s stand trial to the new range of iPods.
