Toshiba Folio 100 SmartPad Unveiled
Remember earlier this week we’d told you about the Toshiba Folio 100 “SmartPad” tablet? Well, it has been officially released at IFA trade show. As we’d reported earlier, the Folio 100 is a 10.1-inch slate tablet with a multi-touch display. Interesting thing about this tablet is that it runs on NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform and boast of Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.
Specification include 16GB onboard storage, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, Mobile Broadband, 1.3MP webcam, and accelerometer.
As for connectivity and I/O is concerned, you get 1x USB 2.0 port, 1 x mini HDMI, card reader, and SD/MMC Card Reader.
In addition, the device offers up to seven hours of battery life and boots up within 30 seconds!
It’ll be available in UK from October for $500.
