Kno dual-screen tablet coming by year end for under $1,000
Remember back in June we’d told you about the Kno tablet? Well, it is one of the most powerful tablet computer around. But of course the major attraction remains its dual 14-inch capacity touch displays. Interesting piece of news regarding this machine came today in the form of a press release mentioning that the company has received $46 million in new funding, meaning the launch of Kno tablet is all set. Word on internet has it it’ll be out by year end!
According to Babur Habib, CTO and Kno co-founder, the company will begin beta testing this fall and ultimately for the first customer ship later this year.
Powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip, the device features dual 14.1-inch capacitive IPS displays (each with 1440 x 900 resolution, 16GB of storage, Wireless, and up to 8 hours of battery.
No word on exact pricing, but expect it to cost under $1,000.
